Description

John Bielenberg is principal of Bielenberg Design, a graphic design studio in Boulder and San Francisco. He has taught graphic design at California College of Arts and Crafts in San Francisco, judged several national design competitions, served on the events and environmental committees of AIGA/San Francisco as well as the board of directors of AIGA/Colorado, and has contributed articles on graphic design to Communication Arts and the American Center for Design. John has received more than 200 national and international design awards from the AIGA, Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, I.D. Magazine, Art Direction, the American Center for Design, and the Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Western Art Directors Clubs, among others. His work has been featured in numerous books on graphic design and is part of the Library of Congress permanent collection, the Chicago Athenaeum “Good Design” exhibition, and the San Francisco MOMA, which is currently planning an exhibition of his virtual Telemetrix projects.
