Albert Watson’s Maroc was designed to reflect an artist’s journal. I kept the typography and layout timeless, yet graphically dynamic. I strove to create a modern sense of elegance for an audience of art book lovers. I feel the piece develops a harmony between photography and type that creates rhythm and surprise while one flips through the book.
