Triple Fast Action is a brand new alternative rock band signed to Capitol. Our mission was to find a unique way to introduce the group and conceptually base our direction on their title “Broadcaster”. With no need to put a photo of an unknown group of guys on the cover, we tried to find simple, iconographic images that would relate to broadcasting. Different kinds of antenna are what we came up with for the regular CD package from the classic television aerial silhouetted against a technicolor sky to cockroaches, cootie bugs and UFO’s. We came across a wonderful vintage photo that encompassed humor and humanity as well as their concept. We used it as an alternative image for the triple (no pun intended) 10-inch collectible vinyl version of the album for a special college radio promotion.
