EON Portable Performance Series User’s Guide

Fitch, Inc., 1995

Description

Simplicity is the key throughout the JBL EON family of products. The User Guide, or Owner's Manual, developed for the EON line is included with all products. In creating the ser Guide, over 100 pages of technical and user information were consolidated in 28 pages. The layout, graphics and typeface reflect a high-tech yet user friendly feel. The "voice" on the cover sets the tone for the rest of the manual. The cover also doubles as a table of contents for the main product sections. A detailed table of contents is listed inside the front cover. Each product section is designed to be self-sufficient and provides all the information needed to start using the product: a description of the product, a Quick-Start unit and detailed technical specifications. The QuickStart units rely heavily on a visual step-by-step representation of the setup process and includes cocise instructions in five languages. Information is layered, allowing users to focus on specific details they need. Each QuickStart unit incorporates a cross-reference tool that directs the reader to other sections that may be relevant. Troubleshooting and glossary sections are written in very simplified language to minimize technical references in the diagnosis and resolution of potential problems.
