Indigo Girls “1,200 Curfews”

Indigo Girls “1,200 Curfews

Franke Design Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota, 1996

Description

For this two-CD set of live recordings, we were asked to create a limited-edition package that gave the feeling of being on the road with the band. We designed the package to become a journal of photos, travel experiences, and souvenirs. Original collage art was created for each spread incorporating this imagery. The personal feel of this package made it necessary to move away from the traditional plastic jewel box. The result was a piece made from recycled papers and wood veneer. We loved the connection that was created between the imagery and the music.
