Description

Barbara deWilde is a graphic designer functioning primarily in the worlds of book jacket design and music packaging. Her work for Alfred A. Knopf and other publishers (including Farrar, Straus & Giroux, W. W. Norton, HarperCollins, and Random House) has been featured in Eye, Print, Graphis, Vanity Fair, Time and I.D. magazines. The latter chose her as part of its first I.D. 40 group of the nation's top designers. Her work has been included in various exhibitions by the AIGA, American Center for Design, Art Directors' Club, and the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution.
