Puritanism and Democracy

Puritanism and Democracy

Stefan Salter, 1944

Description

Juror Notes

While the format as a whole, perhaps in order to give the text as little interference as possible, is uninspired, it never degenerates into dullness. There are good touches: a simple backbone stamping with one rule and one line in red, the others in gold; a good title-page and front-matter; and there is throughout a nice orderliness and neatness. Had the quality of manufacture been higher, it would have enhanced considerably the virtues of the layout.
