Description

Juror Notes

Though a work on economics, this volume has the bland and charming appearance of a book of familiar essays, and the designer has deliberately given it this look, to judge from the nature of the writing as reported by reviewers. The gray of the cloth binding, with a black label high on the backbone to accentuate the tallness of the volume, is repeated in the title-page panel, where it is warmed with a line of red. The leisureliness of chapter title-pages and dropped chapter openings adds to the ingratiating effect.
