Description
Two ripped-from-the-headlines news stories taken from the New York Times of July 23, 1873, about crime sprees in the old west, inspired Chwast’s double-page gun-toting outlaw. Ruffins and Herbert Leavitt, a junior designer at Push Pin, drew the period-looking trains on the cover and as a separate insert.
