The Mother Goose Book

The Mother Goose Book

Peter Beilenson, Edna Beilenson, Sonia Roetter (cover design), New Haven, Connecticut, 1946

Description

Juror Notes

A most attractive, gay little oblong volume with illustrations in three colors. The Weiss type goes well with these illustrations. It is difficult to design an “original” Mother Goose, but the jury felt this volume shows it can be done.
