We commissioned David Hughes to create an illustration to accompany an interview with Bowling for Columbine director Michael Moore. The interview focused on the fact that Moore has faced criticism from both conservatives and liberals. Hughes depicts Moore shooting himself in the head, a reference to the documentary’s subject matter of gun control and the perception that Moore’s tactics sometimes diminish himself and his beliefs.
