Description

Juror Notes

“Truth” illustrates an op-ed piece in The New York Times by Stanley Fish that attempts to understand terrorism and relativism. Entitled “Condemnation without Absolutes,” it was about looking at truth from different points of view.

“It’s an obvious metaphor that’s almost redundant. It’s unusual to use a photographic image for an op-ed piece rather than an arts-related illustration.”

“This could have been done in illustration. The fact that it’s truth photographed adds another layer, makes it surreal.”

“It’s translated elegantly and simply. It’s effective.”
