Christopher Brand Design, New York, New York, 2009

Description

November 22, 1963 tells the story of the people close to JFK and their experiences on the day of the assassination. Because the book focuses so much on Jackie Kennedy, I liked the idea of using the typography to frame her face and highlight her.

Juror Notes

An iconic image used to great effect. The type for the title was expertly calibrated onto the image to achieve a perfect balance.
