Office of Arts Education

Office of Arts Education

Firebelly Design, Chicago, Illinois, 2008

Description

The Office of Arts Education was recently created to oversee, shape and promote art—in all its forms—across Chicago’s more than 600 public elementary and high schools. The objective was to create a hub of communication where a wealth of resources and support for teachers, students, parents and community arts partners could be easily accessed by specific discipline. We designed and developed the website and custom content-management system using RoR (Ruby on Rails).

Juror Notes

This site provides useful content through a clean and elegant interface. It is the opposite of fussy.
