On Becoming a Novelist

On Becoming a Novelist

John Gall Graphic Design, Hoboken, New Jersey, 1999

Description

It is always a challenge when you have to design a cover for a book about writing. The options for imagery are somewhat limited and tired: a typewriter, a fancy-looking pen, a fancy looking typewriter. Not that reproducing a book on a bookcover isn’t a cliché, but I’ve always wanted to get a spine on the front of a book.
