Fill my stocking, Santa!

Paprika, Montréal, Montreal, Quebec, 2010

Description

Project brief: For the third consecutive year, Domison collaborated with us to create an inspiring and daring window installation for the holiday season.

Approach: We came up this year with an unusual material: socks! Using over 600 individual socks held together by safety pins, we created a surprising sculpture that hangs from the ceiling of the store.

Effectiveness: As with all of Domison’s installations, materials must be recyclable. Once over, the socks will be unclipped and brought to a homeless shelter, making over 300 pairs of happy feet warmer for the cold Montréal winter.
