For PRINT’s special issue on consumption, we gave one spread each to four artists known for their obsessive online record-keeping. Each artist spent a week documenting everything—from toast to water to fishing videos—they consumed in a single week, using various media to record their observations. The resulting section is highly individual—a snapshot of four people’s lives, work, geography and personalities—and a picture of the larger world of goods, temptation, restraint and responsibility that we all live in.

 Engages the reader – makes one think about how they would approach the assignment (documentation). Individual designers responses drive the layout. Each individual really approached content in their own unique manner.
