Fruitcakes, over the years, have had a bad rap, and we at Evenson Design Group (EDG) were determined to change this notion with another one of our off-the-wall promotional spoofs, this one featuring the not-so-traditional fruitcake. The EDG “ Deluxe Fruitcake” package housed an interactive PC and Mac disk in a handsome tin for our unsuspecting clients and friends. Once this holiday gag is downloaded, the story unfolds with zany sound effects from a bizarre fruitcake-making machine to help you and our famous Aunt Viola select the perfect ingredients to produce the ultimate “Deluxe Fruitcake.” This full-color piece confirms our design group’s remarkable transition into the multimedia arena and demonstrates creative excellence through computer graphics.
