System 75 Wiring ID Program

Henry Dreyfuss Associates, 1985

Description

This wiring identification program is applied in communication systems ranging in size and complexity from 10 telephones to 20,000. Symbols have been developed as an adjunct to the identification of up to nine system components within a building wiring plan. They function as subscripts to specific designations (numbers, letters, and industry color coding). Combinations of these symbols, background color codes and alphanumerics identify individual wiring circuits, which may be traced from the PBX switch, through the buildings, to an individual telephone.
