Nozone #8 “Extremism” Issue

Nozone, New York, New York, 1996

Description

Nozone is an independently published visual compendium that changes theme and format from issue to issue. The “Extremism” issue used comics, illustration, and graphic narrative to explore the outer reaches of the cultural and political sphere. Inspired by the recent explosion of far-right groups in America, the green and brown color scheme reflects the camouflage aesthetic of paramilitary groups.

Nozone’s audience includes underground comic-book aficionados, disgruntled art directors, and delinquent leftists.
