North Sea Films

Oxide Design Co., Omaha, Nebraska, 2006

Description

North Sea Films is a progressive and adventurous film-production company; their name was selected to capture the thrill of navigating the open seas. This stationery system is an extension of that concept, using a modern interpretation of documents from the glory days of world exploration. The inscription atop the letterhead encapsulates this idea best: “Not unlike the process of filmmaking, the North Sea is a constantly shifting and sometimes turbulent adventure. Those sailing its waters are wise in choosing a seasoned crew, setting a true course and trusting their instincts. But even then, successful passage is not ensured. North Sea Films is a veteran navigator of creative voyages, knowing how to master creative crosswinds of water and film alike. No vessel has ever been lost at the hands of their team. Never has a traveler felt the heavy weight of regret for engaging North Sea Films to helm their creative venture. (Sec. 117 of N.S.F. Act, 1894).”
