This is a catalogue for the exhibition of the same name, organized by Williams College Museum of Art in association with the Cooper-Hewitt. The book is directed at a general audience, with special interest for designers and art historians. The special edition jacket was made by reproducing a poster from the exhibition and folding it down to become the jacket. The jacket is thus literally a wrapper, a piece of material folded around an object. Flat posters were sold in the museum shops.
