Description

A short-run book to accompany an exhibition of nineteenth-century photographs. Budgetary considerations precluded duotones, but since a two-color press was being used, the designer took advantage of the second color, to divide text from photographs, and suggest the feel of ages photographs.
All photographs within the page-format were reproduced the exact size of the original print made by Charles Négre. Oversize prints were reduced.
