(1977) The Book Show: Juveniles

Description

Because the book is long, the budget for art was tight, and we used less art than we would have liked. We chose the artist because we believed his work combined historical accuracy in a distinctly modern-looking yet old-fashioned sort of painting; that is, a primitive, folk-art feel done in a way that could only have been accomplished at the present time.

Entire book printed in a warm black ink and trimmed with Rough, front and foot, all-purpose dusted foil pale on spine and blind stamp on front cover, garnet and gold headbands.
