Description

One challenge of the the book was to recontextualize in the form of a book an art installation/exhibiton by the conceptual artist Hans Haacke. The artist had gathered and arranged in thematic groupings the collection under storage at the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam. The design solution was to do a walk-through of the art installation using the conceit of a book to represent space. We designed and arranged the book based on the themes established by the author. Each of these chapters had its own particular design treatment.
