Description

The artist’s installations simulated streetscapes in which various scenes were encountered. The audience was drawn in to engage and interact with these scenes by walking through the installation from one setting to the next. Our challenge was to translate the movement of the audience through the exhibition into the flow of the book.

We echoed the sequence of interactions with black-and-white images that slowly filtered into color, with its opposite counterpart in the second half of the book going from color to black and white. The text part, which separates the two image-parts of the book, mimics the literary design, working with classic narrative or theatricality of the exhibitions.
