(1976) Fifty Books of the Year

Description

As a catalog of the bicentennial exhibition of the same title, this book provides an illustration (as large as possible) of each of the many diverse art objects included in the show, along with a scholarly description of each one and introductory and explanatory sections. High quality reproduction of the artworks at a reasonable cost was extremely important, so that the selling price would be affordable.
