(1976) Fifty Books of the Year

Description

Mater Peter Patelan is a famous 15th-century French play. This translation is the first to reproduce its rather complicated verse form in English. The edition was kept small because of the known, and limited, audience. Budgetary considerations were minimal since, within limits, the known audience would purchase the book at whatever price we would have to charge to make a profit.

Special features: cut on title page is hand-tinted
