Description

This is a fantastical novel of the gold rush, published in 1849, resurrected by the Book Club of California and issued as its fall selection for 1974. The publications committee of the Club stipulated that this be one of the less elaborate and least expensive of their publications.

Special feature: Title on title age and paragraph on page 91 is gold stamped.
