The book is about cooking creatively with fresh food. It contains more than 300 internationally inspired recipes that are a mixture of haute cuisine, peasant cooking, and regional cooking of Europe. Complete menus for each season are followed by recipes. Each is rated as to degree of difficulty and expense, and each contains precise timetables for preparation and cooking.
