Description

The book Hiroshi Sugimoto: Portraits was designed to accompany a traveling exhibition sponsored by the Guggenheim and showing at the Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin, then moving onto the Guggenheim in Bilbao and in New York. The exhibition features a series of photographs of life-sized wax figures and the catalogue covers derived directly from one part of the show exhibiting six close-up photographs of the six wives of Henry VIII. Each series of six covers shows one of Henry VIII’s wives on the front cover with his photograph on the back cover.
