Description

This is the first volume in an American-sponsored international historical and critical commentary series on the entire Bible. The title of the series, Hermeneia, reinstates the Greek word for “interpretation” into common theological and academic parlance. The series makes full use of the most recent theological, linguistic, archaeological and textual developments.
