This is The Pyne Press’ first published book. It was selected, designed, and manufactured with several aims in mind: to establish Pyne’s credibility as a quality book publisher, to please the design-conscious community of folk art and toy collectors, and to make available to a wide audience the very delightful art of another age.
Special features: Slipcase manufactured by Brick & Ballerstein, Inc., printed on Simpson-Lee Teton Text, 70 lb. The stencil designs on slipcase are adapted from toy illustrations in book. Backbone stamped in gold.
