Description

Cézanne’s graphic oeuvre, which comprises over 1,200 drawings, is one of the most extensive and most important of the nineteenth century. This study provides an unusually valuable treatment of the development of the artist’s style as seen through the portrait drawings.

Designer’s Comments: The typography is balanced in varying relationships dependent on the function of the portraits to the text.
