Description

The 17 cards are divided into two groups; six cards are “Method Cards” and eleven cards are “Animal and Plant Cards.” The “Method Cards” carry information about keeping pond water animals alive, making good slides, slowing animals to make them easier to observe. The “Animal and Plant Cards” identify and describe individual animals and plants that the children may find in their pond water. The Teacher’s Guide tells how to select a pond, how children can observe plants and animals, and how to carry out investigations. Designed for use in the fifth grade.

Special features: Cards housed in a No. 28 Kraft Envelope White by John S. Stark.
