General Magic wanted to convey the idea that the user voice interface was the next frontier in communication. What seemed most compelling was simply the idea of your own voice being the next interface with the digital environment. Ironically, people have always tried to control their televisions, cars and computers by speaking to them. Now, General Magic wants to make the human voice the logical replacement for the graphical user interface (GUI). We made a case for voice as the most natural way to communicate throughout the world.
