This book combines literature and history to provide a first-hand account of Christopher Columbus’s discovery of the New World. The cover has a whimsical quality that conveys the humor and inventiveness of the writing. The book takes the form of a prose poem divided into four sections that covers the entire voyage to the new world. When the pages of the book are turned quickly, a cloud motif can be seen to travel from left to right throughout the entire book.
