Description

The challenge was to design the last “oversize” issue of Metropolis, which for 18 years has been the largest format design magazine in America. Metropolis has always been one of my favorite magazines, so I was honored and pleased to get asked to design an entire issue, especially on that huge format. I chose to use only the area that the new page size (beginning with the next issue) would be. Each page, starting with the cover, has crop marks and a white band across the page, indicating the area to be lost with the new size.
