Description

Our concept for the promotion was inspired by Charles Eames’ slideshow “The New Covetables,” in which he denounced the consumption of manufactured objects in favor of the raw products from which end-use items are made. We immediately saw Superfine as a covetable itself, and decided to create a catalogue that defined other things and experiences one might covet. The book became a sort of manifesto for Oh Boy’s philosophy that as designers, the things we create should be, or become, artifacts.
