Description

Seeing the show at the Museum of Modern Art that inspired the book helped drive the design, although it was important to make the book distinct from the show. As the book was published in an Italian/English edition, the challenge was to retain the beauty of the design while contending with twice the amount of text. We were happiest with the front and back cover visual game, and that we were able to produce a book on design quite different from the usual. We were also pleased that the book won an award at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, even though it was not specifically aimed at children.
