This book is intended for news buffs, art lovers, and political junkies. It presents artist Nancy Chunn’s year-long work Front Pages, an illustrated commentary on the front pages of the New York Times for every day of 1996. I set out to create a cover that would allow the concept of the artwork to be understood at first glance. This objective created the challenge of finding a way to make the title and Nancy Chunn’s first name stand out on a busy background.
