This traveling exhibition contains 100 CDs, books, posters, interactive media, and special packaging. In order to reach as wide an audience as possible, the exhibition needed to travel intact, with little setup needed and flexibility for venue requirements.
The pink curtain is vinyl with clear pockets to hold the 100 CDs in the exhibition. Other materials include plastic retail connectors, lamination, and grommets.
The concept for the exhibition incorporates the idea of reproduction, consumerism, artificiality, and accessibility. The materials and colors (plastics and fluorescence) reinforced these ideas. The exhibition has traveled, thus far, to fifteen cities with great success. The message has remained consistent and the quality of materials has not been compromised.
