Description

Mimic is a horror film about cockroaches that are quickly evolving into humans. The title refers to the way insects survive by imitating other species and nature. The main title had to tell the film’s back story: a terrible plague, spread by cockroaches, is spreading through New York City, killing young children. In addition, the sequence sets up the film’s suspense by evoking constant fear of insect evolution and infestation.
