Description

The goal of this book was to design something that got as close to the spirit of Dada as possible, while still delivering a great deal of information to both a general and specialized audience in a legible format. There is a chronology in the middle of the book that weaves two different types of calendars along with color reproductions of the significant works in the exhibition. The budget for color was limited, so several signatures were printed with just black plus one color to provide the illusion of more color. There were also important restrictions on the reproduction of many artworks in this book, which had to be taken into consideration while composing the pages of this information-packed catalogue. Making Mischief was truly a challenging project!
