Description

Del Banco’s pronouncement that Satan is dead is one I imagine appearing in newspaper headlines and on posters tacked to lampposts and the doors of churches, done hastily to break the story. The cover, like the book, attempts to defy the threat of evil by simplifying it, with a sketch, so as not to give form—and ultimately life—to the greatest of our fears.
