This book was published in conjunction with the traveling exhibition of the same name, which examined how artists playfully manipulate our sense of what is real and what is not.
The cover design attempts to create an illusion of three dimensions and depth through the use of Mylar, a highly reflective surface, and Benday dots, which are used in the printing process to simulate reality in photographic imagery.
