Description

Mind Grenades is a compilation of the first thirty introductions from Wired magazine. The intros are conceived as four to six-page ‘advertisements for ideas’—ideally the most provocative or important idea in each issue.

We took our inspiration from McLuhan’s The Medium is the Massage, using these pages to push the technological and creative limits of the visual presentation. Each intro was printed on a six-color press for the magazine. For the book, all thirty intros were printed on an eight-color press, for a total of twenty-five different match colors.
