A Visit to the Gallery unites the talents of twenty-four outstanding contemporary writers with masterpieces from the University of Michigan Museum of Art’s permanent collection. Beth Hay’s attention to reproduction quality was persistent and unfailing, and we believe that her design for the volume succeeds brilliantly on both practical and symbolic levels. To an already deeply collaborative project Hay added whole new layers.
