This fifteen-second spot was created to promote the release of the murder thriller Intensity by Dean Koontz. The aesthetic foundation of the piece was an abstract pattern created in vivid colors from the book cover. The piece was constructed to give a sense of the extreme tension between the heroine and her antagonist that carries throughout the suspense novel. Two identical voice-overs, using both a man and a woman, are meshed together using sophisticated audio morphing technology. We intended the viewer to be left in a state of unease, yet wanting more.
