Description

The invitation to Art Center’s Computer Donor Luncheon was targeted toward financial sponsors of the college’s computer graphics laboratory. The audience was a small, select group of senior executives and CEOs of companies. The invitation also had to be perceived as special by the people who open the mail for these executives. The creative strategy was to employ subtle elements that refer to the emerging technologies. One parameter we dealt with is that Mylar, when cut into small sheets, curls like crazy! The criteria for the success of this piece, as in years past, is attendance numbers at the event itself, and the favorable comments made about the piece by the invitees.
